Regular pedicures are the best treatment for cracked heels. They can be done at home easily. They aren’t expensive when done at home. Simply take a small basin and fill it with hot water. Pour a little shampoo in the water and add a few drops of tea tree essential oil.
Mix the shampoo and oil well in the water. Soak your feet in the water. Cover your lap with an old but clean towel. Remove one foot and place it in your lap. With the help of a foot scrubber or pumice stone start scrubbing the sole of your foot.

Scrub for 5-7 minutes and then put the foot back in water. Now repeat the scrubbing treatment with the other foot as well and put it in water again. Let the feet remain in water for a few more minutes and then dry them on the towel. Pour a thick cream-based lotion on the foot scrubber or the pumice stone and scrub your feet again.

Apply a thick layer of heavy cream or glycerin and rub it well into the heels. Wear a pair of clean cotton socks and allow the heels to soak in the moisturizer. Ideally the pedicure should be done before going to bed at night. Sleep with the socks on. 8-10 hours of sleep will give the moisturizer plenty of time to heal the cracked heels.
