Salt Water

One of the simplest ways of treating a spider bite is to soak the affected area in some salty water. This is an ideal way of treating a bite on the hand or the foot. Salt helps to draw out any poison which might be present in the bitten area. This remedy is helpful in soothing the symptoms of spider bites.

In those cases where the person has bites on other parts of the body, he can soak a soft cloth in some salty water. This cloth can be squeezed and placed on the bite. It must be left in place for about half an hour before removing it. Then that area should be washed with some plain water.

Aloe Vera Gel

In fact, the aloe vera gel is also effective in treating spider bites. This gel contains natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, & soothing effects that can aid in reducing pain, swelling, and itchiness.
