Home Remedies For Carpal Tunnel

Castor Oil

Warm some castor oil and apply it on your hands and fingers. Massage your wrists, thumbs, fingers and the back of your hands for 10 to 15 minutes.Wrap your hands in flannel and leave it on for an hour.
Dothis once daily for a week or until there is improvement.

Fruit or Vegetable Juice

You can consume a juice prepared with the use of pears (2 – 3), apples (2 – 3), orange and lemon juice 2 to 3 times in a day to treat the problem of carpal tunnel. A mixture of carrot and celery juice can also be consumed to obtain the desired results.

Aloe Vera

You can consume aloe vera juice (1/4th cup) on a regular basis to deal with the problem of carpal tunnel. Aloe vera gel can also be rubbed on the affected area to cure the pain resulting from carpal tunnel.

Mint Oil

You can massage the affected area with mint oil on a frequent basis to cure the problem of carpal tunnel. Taking a bath with water containing mint oil can also provide effective results.


You can consume food items containing turmeric on a daily basis to deal with various symptoms associated with carpal tunnel. Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon) can also be consumed with a glass of warm water or milk to obtain relief from carpal tunnel.

Castor Oil

You can apply castor oil and cover the affected area with a cloth bandage to treat the problem of carpal tunnel.This bandage should be removed after 4 to 5 hours.

Ice Pack

The pain resulting from carpal tunnel can be treated with the application of ice or an ice pack. A bag of frozen peas can be used to prepare an ice pack. You can also put your hands or wrist area in the cold water to obtain the desired results.

Warm Water

You can take a bath with warm water to cure the symptoms of carpal tunnel. A towel soaked in warm water can also be used to cover the affected area. This remedy can help in reducing the pain and stiffness resulting from carpal tunnel.
