An individual can soak his/her nails in a mixture of black walnut powder (1 teaspoon) and warm water (4 cups) to deal with the issue of nail fungus.Performing this process twice in a day can provide quick relief. A few drops of black walnut tincture can also be directly applied on the affected nails.


Cedar is another antifungal herb which can be used to treat the problem of nail fungus. An individual is required to mix grinded leaves of this herb with carrier oil and apply a few drops of this mixture on the affected nails. This remedy is required to be used 2 to 3 times on a daily basis till the time the desired results are not obtained.

Pau D’Arco

Pau D’Arco can also be used as an antifungal herb in the treatment of nail fungus. Soaking nails in water (5 to 6 cups) containing tea bags (4) of this herb can provide effective results. This remedy should be used for a minimum period of 10 to 15 minutes. Further, it is important to perform this process 2 to 3 times on a daily basis for quick results.

Tea Tree Oil

An individual can use tea tree oil for treating nail fungus. This oil has antifungal properties and its direct application on the affected nail can provide quick results.Tea tree oil is considered as the best oil for dealing with the problem of nail fungus. Application of tea tree oil mixed with other oils 2 to 3 times on a daily basis can also provide the desired results. Further, this oil should be used for a period of 15 to 20 days to obtain better results.


Thyme can also be used in curing the problem of nail fungus. A solution prepared by boiling thyme leaves (3 or 4) in water can be used to wash the affected nail. Soaking hands or feet in this solution for a period of 30 minutes can also treat the problem of nail fungus. An individual is required to use this herbal remedy 3 to 4 times on a daily basis for best results.


Another herbal remedy for nail fungus is oregano.
