Ways To Get Pregnant After A D&C

Tracking The Ovulation Cycle
After your D&C, wait for your menstrual cycle to return to normal. Check your days of ovulation for the first couple of months and assess whether you have a regular cycle. This will help in calculating the days of ovulation accurately so that you can plan your physical union during the fertile days.
Intercourse can be planned from the 8th to the 15th day of your menstrual cycle if you are calculating your monthly cycle by the counting method. Other ways to check your days of ovulation are checking your basal body temperature and cervical mucous. The cervical mucous will be clear, stretchy and like an egg white during the days of ovulation. Basal body temperature will be lower than normal on the days of ovulation.
Ovulation Predictor Kit
Ovulation predictor kit can be used for checking the days of ovulation. The test must be started on day 10, counting from day 1 of your menstruation. The predictor kit must never be used in the morning as the reading might be wrong. The best time to use the ovulation predictor kit is in the afternoon or evening after you head back from work.
Before taking the test, you must not drink liquids or go to the bathroom for four hours. After you have identified the first day of ovulation, make the best of it by having intercourse in the 24 hours available for conception. Immediate sex after testing positive for ovulation is essential for women who have had D&C as the ovulation cycle may be shorter or will be different than your normal ovulation cycle after a D&C.
