Green tea without sugar can also be applied on the lashes (closed eyes) with the help of a cotton ball after it has cooled down to increase the growth of eyelashes. It is important to wash the eyes after 4 to 5 minutes with cold water to obtain effective results. A mixture of green tea (1/8th cup) and jojoba oil (2 tablespoons) can be rubbed to improve eyelash growth.
Lemon peel can be soaked in olive oil for 4 to 5 days. Preparation and application of a paste created with this mixture can help in the growth of eyelashes. Castor oil can also be used with lemon peel to create a paste.
A gentle massage of eyelids can increase the blood flow and stimulate the growth of eyelashes. It is important to wash the hands properly before performing the massage. This process can be repeated multiple times on a daily basis to obtain best results.
Application of vaseline on the eyelashes can also promote eyelash growth. Vaseline can be applied with the use of an eyelash brush or a finger.To obtain effective results, vaseline should be applied before going to sleep and removed in the morning with water. Vitamin E oil can also be applied with the use of an eyelash brush for promoting eyelash growth. Intake of vitamin E rich food items such as almonds, hazelnuts, spinach and sunflower seeds may also help in obtaining the desired results.
Use Glycerine/Egg White
A mixture of glycerine (2 to 3 drops) and castor oil (1/2 teaspoon) can be directly applied to improve the growth of eyelashes. Egg white can also be used as an alternative for glycerine.
Cornflower And Calendula Flower Extract
Application of an eye lotion prepared with the use of cornflower and calendula flower extract 2 to 3 times on a daily basis can also foster the growth of eyelashes. It is interesting to note that regular use of this mixture can also improve the thickness of eyelashes.
